TAIWAN

Ready for a new continent,
we arrived busy Taipei on a rainy night.
So happy to meet our asian family...If no one knows what it means to be originals, this people-group is the one to ask!
Remember; The World Is Yours.

Less than 24 hours before arrival we found out that ywam has a base in Danshui, a part of Taipei. And little did we know what a happy reunion it was gonna be!
We got to stay in the sbs-house with old buddies from Kona...Nothing like it!
Thanks for the chocolate pancakes Chris:)

Eliah, Chris & Esther Lee
ready for some asian bubble-tea.

Peace

In the ghetto of Taipei.

In the world's now tallest building 1o1 we met some oldies
enjoying the view.

The beauty of Taiwan.

Cruising East Coast

After our time in Sydney, it was time to hit the road...We've had 3 weeks of adventure, long busrides, everything from beach to bush, multi-international friendships, exploring the backpacker-world and endless numbers of hostels...

Living in dorms with up to 20 people with different sex, backgrounds, habits and smells has definately been interesting!

You never know what you're gonna get...

But as the Aussie- people say, you've gotta "Live alittle"!

Our life-saver Mr Greyhound (Mr Bus) himself has been taking us from south to north, day & night.

Thanks for the ride.

During our time we've seen endless beaches, everything from Byron Bay, Lennox head, Ballina, Surfer's Paradise, Rainbow Beach, Agnes Water/1770, Airlie & Mission Beach...In the homeland of Surf, the beauty reigns.

Taking a chill-pill.

Then we hit Brisbane aka Brissie, a rose between thorns.

Lucky as always, we got to stay with a dear viking Calla in his mansion. In his backyard you'll find an oasis of palmtrees, jacuzzi, pools, bridges & bbq.

Heaven- home for free...thanks man!

Being in the neighbourhood we thought we'd step by to greet some old familymembers in ywam Brissie.
So cool to see you guys again, short but good!

Reaching Surfer's Paradise we saw the sun for the first time in 2,5 weeks,
right on time Mr PT!

Finally we were able to trace down a real local.
Consider that Australia is filled with 1 million germans at the moment, we have full understanding that the real Aussies stay away...Add some thousands scandinavians, englishmen and dutchs, and you'll be there.
The word "commercial" defines the east coast, and makes it hard to experience the real Australia.

Thanks buddy for taking the time.

Up north we went out for a day sailing the Whitsunday Islands on the Great Barrier Reef. The catamaran Camira and her crew rescued us from the predictable backpacker-life for a moment.

We got to snorkle on the reef exploring the seaworld.

Goodmornin' Nemo.

Pink Ladies.

Nice, but bye bye...

We've finished the Pacific, now we're ready for Asia.
Chung, ching chong noodles...Taiwan next.

Sydney

The city of colours.

We've entered Aussie, the homeland of surfers...it's all about Billabong & friends.

Mitch & Ed, we're so sorry you're not here!!

A busy city for busy people...Here you'll find people from all around the world, originals & copies.

Searching for whatever they're looking for, walking up and down the streets with their cellphones and loud Ipods.

But you'll also be able to find peace and quiet, and lots of young people who's more than happy that you're actually taking the time.
But hey, that's our favourite sport!

Finally we had the chance to join the Hillsong fam, including Mr Rolf (drummer). What an honor!

Spending the whole weekend on both City & Hills Campus, gave us a refill for real!

There's nothing like "the Ministry of Sound"

The bus-host & company welcomed us as old familymembers.

Hillsong United

Sydney has alot, and we got to see it all.

Day & Night.

--------------------------------

The east coast of Australia is waiting to be seen.

Kiwi-land

From the Kona- Ohana (=family!) to another Ohana...Reunion-party a la Hewson family! After almost 3 months of hostels and backpacking, staying in a family's house was the rehab we had been longing for!
After 2 days in Auckland, we got to stay for an awesome week in their original mansion in Christchurch, New Zealand.
We felt like real princesses staying in this fairytale- castle...
King's kids for life*

Taking us in as a part of their family, love was all around...

After a week in the city, it was time to explore!
Road-trip around the south island with the kiwi-brothers Michael & Georgie,
you are the real blues brothers.
1000 km in 2 days...waoh...intense!

From bush to beach.

The flexible family

Good morning, rise & shine
"Hit the road Jack"

From cruising Hawaii with the blue "Marvel" to his red cousin in NZ, we explored mountains, jungle, glaciers, beaches, valleys & hills.
A miracle that car is still alive!

Gold- diggers...we found it!!

YES, we jumped off...
...A real kick!
Good times, heart-music, beauty beyond compare.
What else to make a perfect week complete??
You pimped our ride!
In the beauty of God's creation...

Oh what an adventure...So crazy & beautiful!

George, we love you! Michael, we love you too!
Australia, we're ready for more*
