India

After travelling the world for over 5 months,

you might think the journey is over.

Looking back we realize it has only just started*

We arrived India ready for some adventure,
and adventure we got!

Delhi with it's millions of people
brought us the colors, spices, smells and camels.

Welcome to 'Incredible India'

The state Rajastan has some of India's most beautiful people,
and our first stop was Pushkar.

The 3 wise men from the far east..

We got invited to an indian wedding
with it's pride, gold, bangles, dancing and food.
Party people!

The groom was Aladin's cousin...

Our next stop was Jaipur famous for
housing one of India's biggest temples.
To get to the top of the mountain, you need to ride
the cute indian elephants.

The hard reality of indian women is visible everywhere.

Mr snake and his buddy

Our last stop in Rajastan, after many days on the road,
was Agra with Taj Mahal.

A beauty with a world-known history.

Our faithful 'Ambassador' and our driver Gobin.
Hours n hours everyday the 3 amigos would
travel far, far and further than far.

From at least 5 to 15 hours everyday.

Patience darling, patience.

After another stop in Delhi, the 3 amigos again hit the road.
This time they were going to the mountains;

Dharamsala & McLeod with Dalai Lama's mansion & friends.

We made friends with lots of the tibetan munks and prisoners.
Many of them come here from Tibet and China,
and majority study Dalai Lama's teachings at "the library".

The munks devotion and discipline is amazing.
Praying, yoga and meditation is a big part of their days.

Here at Dalai Lama's temple.

We found some friends that wanted to chill*

In the mountains above McLeod, Bagsu,
Sophia's brother Lucas lived last year.

We got to hang out in his old neigbourhood,
see his crib and his homies.

His good friend Sasha

The kids of Bagsu

After another (!) stop in Delhi, it was time for Ranikhet.
The city lies in Himalaya at 2000 m / 6000 ft.

On the trainstation we made friends for life...that saved our lives!
Stuck in the dangerous, cold mountains
in the middle of the night, we got to sleep in their house,
eat their food, use their luxury and enjoy cool people!
Abel, Mama & ....
Some angels just come from up above.

Then we got to see Lohne & the kids Sander, Niclas & Stephie.
Happy b-day*

After a trainride with the family of rats,
we arrived Varanasi 22 hours later.
The holy river Ganga / Ganges had to be seen.

For good luck and a happy life...of course!

A bubba on the shore

In the sunrise.

Another journey waiting:

Varanasi- Mombai 30 hours

Mombai- Goa 15 hours

Oh how we love these trains!

View in Mombai/Bombay

Welcome to Goa*

Meet you here!

It's not over until it's all over

...Life is a journey...
